Allen R. Aldridge Jr- Athletic Coordinator/ Head Football Coach

 

Coach Aldridge Graduated from Willowridge HS and was an all-District and All-State football player and also was a three year letterman in track for the Eagles. He received a scholarship to the University of Houston where he was three-time Ironman award winner, All-Southwest Conference and Pre –Draft All-American.

 

Coach Aldridge was drafted in the 1994 by the Denver Broncos where he played for four seasons. He was also a member of the 1998 Super Bowl XXXII Championship Team. After the Broncos, he signed with the Detroit Lions and played another four seasons. Coach Aldridge retired from the NFL in 2002 and began his coaching career at Willowridge in 2003. This is his forth year coaching at Bush HS.

 

Coach Aldridge’s wife is Tajuana, and they have two sons, Devin, 8, Allen III, 4 and a daughter, Victoria Rae, 2.

Miguel Gonzalez - Head Baseball Coach

Coach Miguel Gonzalez is in his 5th year of coaching and 3rd year at Bush. Before coming to BHS in 2006, he was the Varsity Assistant at Port Arthur Memorial, and 2nd Assistant at San Antonio Southside. Aside from his Head Baseball duties, Coach Gonzalez is also the Varsity Defensive Line Coach for the Bronco Football Team.

Coach Gonzalez attended college and played catcher at Tarleton State University in Stephenville TX, and then at Schreiner College in Kerrville TX. He later graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi with Bachelors of Science Degrees in Kinesiology and Interdisciplinary Studies (English), where he was also a multiple Dean's List recipient.

 

Coach Gonzalez expects to guide the Bronco Baseball Team to their first ever playoff birth within his tenure here at Bush. He believes that this can happen through hard work, player commitment to improve, and positive parental support.

Coach Gonzalez was married in 2007 to his wonderful wife, Karina.

Garrett Oakley - Assistant Coach

Coach Garrett Oakley is in his 3rd year of coaching and all three years have been at Bush High School. Aside from being the outfielder’s coach for baseball he is also a freshman football coach.

 

Coach Oakley played baseball for a short period of time at Abilene Christian University and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelors degree in History and Education.

Coach Oakley was married in Dec. of 2006 to his wife Michelle.

Rod McKee - Assistant Varsity / JV Coach

Coach Rod McKee is in his first year of coaching baseball at Bush High School. Coach McKee has been coaching football and basketball in his two years at Bush and is currently the Varsity Receiver Coach and Head JV Coach for the Bronco Football team and the JV Coach for the Bronco Basketball team.

 

Coach McKee attended college and played football and baseball at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. He received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from CSM and went on to a 12 year career as an engineer and business owner. In 2005, Coach McKee resigned from engineering to pursue his desire to be a teacher and a coach. He attended Colorado State University and received his teaching certification prior to moving to Texas to start his teaching career in 2007.

 

Coach McKee has been married to his wonderful wife, Jennifer, for 14 years and has three children; Emily (10 years old), Collin (8 years old) and Cassidy (5 years old).

Terance Johnson - Head Golf/Assistant Varsity/ Soph. Baseball Coach

Coach Terance Johnson is in his first year at Bush High School. Coach Johnson has been coaching for seven years and is currently the Head Boys/Girls Golf Coach, Asst. Varsity Offensive Line Coach, and Sophomore Baseball Coach.

Coach Johnson attended Southern University/ Sul Ross St. University where he played baseball and was a 3-year letterman. He received Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from Sul Ross and immediately began pursuing a career in teaching and coaching. Coach Johnson also went on to receive his Masters from the University of St. Thomas in Education.

 

Coach Johnson is currently single and has a wonderful son Dominic who is 9 years old; they enjoy golfing, paintballing, fishing, and just plain ole hanging out together.
